Sheehan Visits Colleen

Colleen has been living in Las Vegas and this is a picture of her place.

February

Some cute random pics of the kids.
Sheehan went ice fishing with his brothers. They were out there all day and didn't catch anything. He joined for about 2 hours and caught the only fish of the day.

Aaron Comes to Stay

Sheehan's best friends from childhood is Aaron Craig. They act like 10 year old boys again when they are around each other. Aaron was in the process of moving up to Utah from California and needed a place to live while he got his job started. He moved out after about 4 months and was able to move his family up. Our family had some great times with Aaron and we are excited his family is so close to us now.  Lincoln took the pictures of Aaron and Sheehan in their matching red shirts. This was the first night Aaron came to stay with us.

Aaron was headed out the door to an interview. These guys are great buddies who really care and look out for each other.
The kids love Aaron

Vegas-February 2016

We managed to get some rooms in Vegas at the Grandview with Grandma Bev and thaw out from the freezing cold this winter. It was the boys and I's last hoorah before baby sister arrives. It felt SO good to just bask in the sunshine. But it was SO hard to walk around the strip 36 weeks pregnant. People were so nice to me though. In Utah a pregnant woman is not a novelty. In Las Vegas I could be my very own show given all the compliments and attention I got. I had an old man offer me his walker to sit down in while we were both waiting for our ice cream shakes. He then patted my back and in his asian accent said, "You seem very strong and healthy." I thanked him and declined the walker. :)
On the drive down we made a pit stop in St. George to let the kids and I stretch our legs and get something to eat.
It was still chilly even in St George but warmer than home!

Lincoln loved swimming in the pool this trip. He's finally getting big enough to play in the pool by himself without me having to save his life every 10 seconds.
(Tangent Story! One day I went with Alyssa to the American Fork Rec Center. Vance really wanted to climb up these steps that had water spraying all over them and slides that end in the water. We got to the top of the steps and I turned to look for Lincoln in the pool with his cousins below. When I looked back all I saw was the back of 18 month old Vance flying down the slide headed for the water. No floaties on of course. So I dove in head first down the slide after as he giggled his was down. He flew into the water then 1 second later came me flying out of the slide landing right on top of him under the water. I brought us both up and out of the water and he just smiled at me like we just experienced the greatest thing ever. All I could think was, "I hope no one saw that."

It felt so nice to sit pool side eating snacks with my boys. My belly is so huge. I look like I'm smuggling a basketball everywhere I go. The boys were so happy to play in the pools at Vegas. For months after this trip Lincoln would use blocks to recreate the pool and hot tub or color the little warm pool (hot tub) and the big cold pool. We can't wait to bring sister back for Labor Day!
