Christmas Card Attempted Photo Shoot

I had a vision in my head of a sweet family picture in our Christmas Pajamas in front of the fireplace and Christmas tree. It was a mess! The lighting was off but the biggest problem was these crazy boys Lincoln and Vance. They were everywhere! They would not sit still or smile. It probably wasn't a good idea to have my Mom taking the pictures because they were too excited to see her and just wanted to be next to her and not sit and smile with Sheehan and I. 

Lincoln wouldn't stop jumping and doing somersaults and Vance wouldn't smile. He just wanted to scowl at us. 

We finally pulled out the manger scene set and the boys sat with us! The picture was even more perfect because the flash made a "star" reflection in the fireplace right above the manger scene between us.

So our Christmas card I felt represented us very well! Our life is a little chaotic and there's not a lot of relaxing but the boys are learning and growing every day and we get short moments where we get to teach them about the gospel of Jesus Christ and his love for them.
