While our fence was being installed the crew left a tractor in our backyard for the night. Not knowing this I released Lincoln to the backyard world the next morning. After a couple minutes I went to check on him. He was awfully quiet. I called out for him then noticed the tractor sitting in the corner of the yard.
Next thing I know a little head pops up over the seat in the tractor cab and there is one HAPPY boy with the biggest smile you've ever seen. I instantly had visions of the tractor driving away with the overjoyed boy inside so I took off out the slider door to retrieve the HAPPY boy. He noticed my fear and immediately hopped out of the tractor cab. He knew he wasn't supposed to touch it.
Through the rest of the day until the tractor finally left our yard I had to keep watching the Curious, HAPPY boy creep back toward the tractor to just touch it. It was a long day but did I mention it made Lincoln so HAPPY!
The boys saw the tractor digging post holes in our yard so they thought it was a perfect time to begin digging their own holes.
This moment of brother hand holding happened without prompting and I about died. I wish I had a flash and a nice camera to actually capture the moment. Lincoln doesn't usually run around in just underwear. This was during our 3rd absolutely failed attempt at potty training.
Vance loves when we put hats on him as I've mentioned too many times before in previous posts. He was trying to get Lincoln's helmet on and his little big ears got stuck on the outside every time. I love that boy's big ears. He gets that from his Daddy.
Vance is a cleaner. If he spots a broom or mop in a restaurant or store he just starts cleaning. When he is not crying for the real vacuum we distract him with this little vacuum toy. He takes the job very seriously. He has good form. ;)
