Labor Day Las Vegas Nelson Family Reunion 2015

Lincoln and Vance both ask weekly, "When is the next time we are going to Las Begas?' (not a typo- they struggle with V's). So when Labor Day was approaching I held out until 3 sleeps (we have to count in "sleeps" the concept of days/weeks is just barely setting in) before we had to leave to tell them we were headed for Las Vegas!
We had lots of cousins again to swim ALL WEEKEND LONG! It was over 100 degrees every day but being poolside made it tolerable. It was so nice for all 3 kids to be so wore out from playing from sun up to sun down. They would just pass out to sleep.
I've got the packing down pretty well and was feeling excited that we didn't have so much to bring without the giant stroller, pack n play, etc. Then a few hours into our drive I realized....I left Rae Rae's clothes on her chair in her room. Sooo Rae Rae got a new wardrobe from Walmart. I was happy to shop for new clothes for her. Buying baby girl clothes is sooo fun!! I promise I did not forget the clothes on purpose.
We were able to slip in a visit with Sheridan and his family. We always love seeing them. We went out to eat at Black Bear Diner then hung out at his house afterward for a bit. The kids (and let's be real-I loved it too) all their ANIMALS!! They had a turtle, 3 dogs, 5 cats, so many fur babies to love! Well and the turtle. The boys got to feed the turtle after he came out of his hole he dug out in the ground. They loved every minute visiting Uncle Sheridan's house. His girls Rory and Holly were so good to them too! Sheridan offered to watch the kids so we jumped on that opportunity to go watch the Cirque de Soleil Micheal Jackson One show! A bunch of family jumped on our bandwagon and before you know it we had a group of 15 people going to the show all together. The more the merrier. I love a party! The kids were so happy at Sheridan's when I went to get the baby she was snuggled in Jen's (Sheridan's fiance) lap and was angry crying that I picked her up.
We picked up Colleen and she stayed with us 2 of the nights we were there. Lincoln really loves Grandma Colleen because she plays with him and sits with him while he plays his tablet or watched shows so it was good to have a visit with her too. We took her to the breakfast buffet at the Silverton (one of our favorites!) and she was able to go to the Micheal Jackson show with us also. She was singing and dancing (and of course crying) the whole show.
Once again, Vegas did not disappoint and the boys are already asking when we are going back.

 We get (4) 1 bedroom suites and all share together with cousins, Aunts, Uncles, etc. It's so fun.

We went back to Carlo's bakery for a couple pastries and sweets!

It's always a good time sitting by the pool in the sunshine while all the little cousins play and I always get to stock up on my jewelry at Du Barry's. Love it!
