Kiersten's 25th Birthday

This year we decided to have a reunion with the people that have moved from Bear Valley Ward, Bear Valley Springs, California to Utah. Bill and Erin Branham hosted the reunion out at their awesome cabin home in Ephraim. The date that worked for everyone fell on my birthday Saturday, July 11th. I was happy to have a get together on my birthday and share some delicious Costco cake with everyone. The food was good and the company was even better. I even had my best friend Katie Davis (Pezzillo) with me like old times.

The Branham's little daughter was so nice to play with the boys outside then I took over the job of pulling them around in this cute red flyer wagon. It was adorable watching Lincoln try to hold his little, squirmy brother on his lap.

On the Thursday before my birthday my parents took me out to dinner. My Mom usually gives a choice of a gift or dinner. I love spending time with my family and eating food so hands down my response is dinner. It is always so nice to visit with my parents, with my wonderful husband by my side, (someone has to catch the shrimp), and eat wonderful Japanese hibachi at Tepanyaki.
Happy 25th Birthday to me!

4th of July

We started off celebrating 4th of July at a Patriotic Music and Firework show at Thanksgiving Point Gardens. I really enjoyed it and am so grateful Sheehan is willing to go do shows with me. Katie and her parents were able to come along but left early after we all started to get eaten alive by the mosquitos. They didn't bother me so much. Sheehan had food in his mouth in this picture.

Poor Katie had an infected cyst on her face and somehow her bandage got stuck on me while giving her treats and I didn't notice until getting all the way back to our blanket on the grass.  I took this picture with my Mom holding the bandage to inform Katie she was missing something. Katie was cracking up at my Mom's face. hahaha

On the actual 4th of July we started the day at the Provo Freedom Days Parade. My Mom's real estate office had a tent set up right on the street so no overnighters out on the street this year for our family. They also had a full breakfast waiting for us. We went back home and just lounged around with the kids and took naps to prepare to stay up late at Grandma Bev's.

We shot off some fireworks at Grandma Bev's but there were no aerials allowed this year. We didn't want to set her hillside on fire!

My heart stops when Sheehan throws Vance in the air. He throws him so high and Vance is completely trusting. He doesn't try to hold on or anything.

The end of the night we watched the fireworks off of Grandma's balcony. There were so many! It seems like there are more and more fireworks all over the valley every year. So fun and one of my favorite traditions.

Bear Lake - Ezra's Birthday

Lys and Devin took a couple days and camped out at Bear Lake. Bailey and I drove up (3 hour each way) to join them. It was a long drive but a super fun day. We rented a pedal boat and quickly realized how exhausting those are so the kids were dropped back on the beach to swim and dig in the sand. They were happy to do that all day long. We all got a little sunburned but Bailey took the cake for the worst sunburn this trip. Well if we can't go to the beach for the day Bear Lake will have to do.
