Growing up on Lakeview Dr.

Below is a photo blast of my parents house before it was taken apart from their big move to UTAH!! Woot!

The view from the Cub Lake.

The view out front taken on 4th of July.

I spy a buffalo head...

Dad's messy office.

Mom's sewing corner.

Dad's messy desk in his messy office with his cool architect licenses on the wall.

Informal dining in the den and through the slider you can see the gazebo in the backyard.
My favorite room, the den.

Waterfall we built as a family.

I love this Gazebo. Inside one of the pillars Devin accidentally left a bucket and placed all the bricks and morter over it. The bucket will be forever stuck inside.

The front of the house. We can't leave out the Corvette for Mom and the motorcycle for Dad.

The fountain my Dad made.

Devin's room which was slowly being taken over by dress up clothes for the grandkids.

The is the side of the hallway into my room with my American Girl dolls and Alyssa's Disney plate collection.

This is Devin's side of the hallway with his playing card collection from all of our different trips and just a few of his BMX, soccer, and other various sports trophies.

Picture of Lys and Devyco. They probably got this done at Magic Mountain. Of course, Devin is wearing his signature Hawaiian shirt.

Me! I love this picture. See how cute I was?! I think I was 2 here. All natural blonde.

Then I got a little older and wouldn't you know it I became a brunette. Another picture from elementary school.

The final picture from elementary school. My friends Jamie, Kaitlyn, myself, and Kamryn (I think was her name...)

Working the Scrubs and Hairnet

I've loved my job at the hospital. It's been a great experience! I snapped these real quick while I had a break in the IV Room.

I love it. It was a dream to make it in a hospital job and learn from it.

Sheehan's home inspecting company has been more successful than we expected and so I am sad but excited to be leaving soon to take care of our sweet boy. Sad to leave, but excited to be with my little boy.

Ray "Sheehan" Charles

Sheehan got Lasik surgery on his eyes in May 2013. $3,600 later he can see almost as well as me :). He had to wear these sunglasses inside and outside for several days and for a full month outside. Sheehan is really excited about being able to see everything and has been reading every sign around as we drive the town. He had to wear protective eyewear (oftentimes that meant sunglasses) while he was sleeping at night so nothing would poke his eye(s) and so he wouldn't rub his eye(s). Hence the nickname, Ray "Sheehan" Charles.

Lincoln's 1st Birthday!

Sheehan and I don't know where the time has gone. We have learned so much in this year as we have grown into our new role as Mom and Dad. We are so grateful to have our sweet Lincoln boy in our family. He has filled our home with lots of laughs and smiles.

We had a small family gathering for Lincoln's birthday. Shay and Rebecca came with Eva and Nefi. Alyssa and Mr. Perry with Kiley girl and Lexi. Devin and Juliane with baby Jacqueline.

The Birthday Boy!

We found that Lincoln loves bubbles. Like most little ones his age, he can't get enough. He was so excited about this bubble machine we got him for his birthday he couldn't even contain himself. Every picture we took he is falling over in excitement.

I made Lincoln his birthday cake. My grandiose plans in my head didn't quite turn out but he didn't seem to mind. He picked up his whole cake and pushed it straight into his face.

He ate almost the whole thing.

Lincoln swimming in his water table gift we got him.

Happy and wet boy

The kids all loved playing.

This is one of his birthday gifts that he plays with all the time now. Thank you Shay and Rebecca!

He also got this squishy ball which he played with a lot. It broke so we are going to try to find him another one. It came in handy during sacrament.

Arbor Day

Lincoln and I went and took a trip out to Salt Lake to the Red Butte Garden Arboretum at Utah State University for Arbor Day. Lys, Deven, Devin, and Julianne joined us while Sheehan worked.
Lincoln loves graham crackers. We go through boxes of them every week.

Before our expedition we went to the barber shop for Lincoln's 2nd haircut. He is very good to sit still while they cut his hair which sitting still is typically not in his repertoire.

At the end of our fun day Lincoln did one of his favorite things, which is to play around and wrestle with Daddy. I'm not sure it would be appropriate to title this move shown but I'd say Lincoln won this round. Lincoln-1, Daddy-0

Hospital/Relief Society Service Project

As part of my church calling in the Relief Society Women's Organization I am able to plan activities for the women to get together and learn skills or give service. We decided to do a service project for the pediatric unit of our local hospital Utah Valley Regional Medical Center here in Provo.

We made surgery buddy dolls that are given to children. They have no faces so the kids can decorate them however they like. The doctors use these dolls to show the kids what procedure they are going to have done. The dolls are comforting companions for the children in the hospital.

It went great and I am grateful to all of the ladies that helped this project come together to a make it a reality. The hospital was so grateful. We attached the picture of all of us ladies holding the dolls to every doll given so the children and the family's can know that someone cares, loves, and is praying for them.
