Lincoln-isms

I love this happy boy!
He wakes up with crazy hair just like his Dad.

Lincoln and O.J. (cat) were working together to get into the bathroom. It was hilarious!

Lincoln got this zebra toy a few months ago from Grandma Bev. He loves it but had to learn how to get on by himself. He now proudly sits on the zebra all by himself.

Sheehan reads books to Lincoln just about every night before bed. In the beginning, Lincoln would just play around the room while Sheehan read the books out loud. As Lincoln has gotten older he will sit on Sheehan's lap. Now he will grab a book, point at you, blurt something in baby language, force his bum into your lap and begin flipping through the book for you to read to him. This is one of my favorite parts of our day!

Bath time! Lincoln loves playing in the bath. He'll splash and play in there for hours if we let him. He tried to puts his toy in the whale's "mouth" where the water comes out. He throws his toys out of the tub as we throw them back in. He has a great time.

After the bath we try to wrangle him to sit still long enough for us to slide a diaper on him and if we are really lucky maybe even some clothes! Most of the time we get a diaper on him while he is crawling. He may have peed on the carpet a couple times.

Sheehan taught Lincoln how to crawl up and down the stairs. He has taken a few tumbles but nothing a hug and kiss couldn't fix.

I did a cake decorating class for a few weeks and while I was preparing my supplies for the class Lincoln managed to break into the stash and was happily eating away at my tub of blue frosting. In a matter of minutes it was everywhere.

We leave this window open for Bagheera (the cat) to freely go in and out of the house as he pleases. Lincoln thinks it is a perfect place to throw out toys, remotes, shoes, (you name it) to the outside world. We have found many things that we thought were missing out on the porch.

I love this picture. One of my favorite things is to sit on the porch while the cat hangs out and Lincoln plays. I have the best life and I am so grateful!
